Darrin has been with Slacker from the beginning in 2007.  Original Drummer of Slacker. Singing, playing guitar and drums from age thirteen and playing in several local bands, Darrin set his sights on founding a band that focuses on the dancefloor.  Slacker was born.  He is no Slacker

Steve has been with Slacker since 2010. Steve started his musical "career" at age 8 when he learned to play accordion, then alto sax through his school years. With a passion for Bass Guitar, Steve carved out a place in the local cover band scene, playing bass in several local bands since 2003. We are grateful to have had Steve for all of these years. 

He is no Slacker!

Tony has been with Slacker since early 2023. Tony was born with fidgety fingers and toes. Tony has played with various prominent bands and always strives for technical accuracy, precision and artistic license.  His musical heros are Dave Weckl, Steve Gadd & Neil Peart. Tony enjoys performing and working in a collaborative setting.  We're excited "fidgety" has joined us.

He is no Slacker  

Slacker's newest member. Rick joined Slacker in March of 2023. Rick is a guitarist who has been playing for more years than he cares to admit. He is passionate about playing and while has the blues in his bones, loves to play all types of music from Rock, R&B, Funk, Pop and even Country. He has played all of them at one time or another in various bands. Originally from the East coast of Florida, he honed his chops in a number of bands gigging at large venues, the college circuit and down to the diviest dives in Florida, Raleigh, NC, Tampa, Chicago and finally ending up in Phoenix. Upon arriving in Phoenix in 2007,  he hooked up with The J. Powers Band and continued to play with them for 9 years. After the 9 years, Rick began working with ProFusion, Guilty Party and The Elements. He feels fortunate to have played with amazing bands and learned from some fantastic musicians throughout the years and looks forward to enjoying more good music and fun. He is no Slacker
